About Dr. Ventura

​

Dr. Ventura is a board-certified Obstetrician Gynaecologist in practice since 2000. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California at Davis in 1992 and a Medical Doctorate from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1996. She completed her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington in 2000, and obtained a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology from Harvard University in 2018.

Following her specialty training, she worked at US army bases in Seoul, Colorado Springs, and Kuwait. Then, having completed her military obligation, she joined a private practice in Tacoma, Washington for four enjoyable years. In 2007, she moved to Singapore, spending the first two years at the National University of Singapore before transitioning back to private practice. She now works with the Sincere Healthcare Group and Teladoc telemedicine services.

Dr. Ventura frequently takes part in medical missions and has been involved with projects in Cambodia, Timor Leste, Northern India, Liberia, and Ethiopia. Currently, she is working with migrant workers in Singapore who have been affected by COVID-19.
